These fresh, fragrant leaves are picked and pounded together to a traditional recipe with Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese, Pecorino cheese and pine nuts into our premium green Pesto.

Is Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto vegetarian friendly?

Our traditional Classic Basil Pesto recipe contains Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese and Pecorino cheese, which are made with animal rennet. We do have vegetarian and vegan Pesto options in our range which you can find here.

How long does Pesto last once opened?

As Sacla’ Pesto is pasteurised, there is no need to store unopened jars of Pesto in the fridge. Simply use them before their ‘Best Before’ date. Opened jars should be kept in the fridge and can be eaten safely for up to 2 weeks without risk or noticeable loss of flavour.
