From June to September, we harvest more than 4,000 tons of fragrant Italian basil, which travels from the fields to our state-of-the-art factory in Asti within just a few hours. Once the carefully selected, high-quality ingredients in Sacla’ Pesto have been expertly combined in the correct proportions, the mixture is dispensed into jars. These jars are then vacuum sealed for a perfect airtight seal, before being pasteurised for your protection using a mild heat treatment.
Premium pesto, such as Sacla’ Pesto, is safe to eat during pregnancy. While it contains Italian hard cheese, Sacla’ uses pasteurised cheese, which means it can be safely enjoyed even when pregnant.
