Black Summer Truffles are Italian jewels, charcoal-like nuggets that grow underground in the roots of trees. Finding them requires the skill and dedication of truffle hunters, or Trifolau, with their highly-trained dogs. They keep their finds and locations a guarded secret, generally hunting at night, away from prying eyes.

Truffles deserve a starring role, so our Black Summer Truffle Pesto simply blends fresh truffle with smooth cashews, cheese, pine nuts, oil and a sprinkle of sea salt. That’s it!

And to serve? Again, we recommend keeping it simple. Toss through freshly cooked, filled agnolotti, al dente tagliatelle and drizzle indulgently over scrambled eggs for a special occasion brunch.
