Sacla’ Red Pepper and Almond Pesto – we’re patient with our peppers so you don’t need to be!
Our favourite variety of red pepper is the famously square Quadrato d’Asti Rosso. It’s plump and packed with flavour and likes to take its time to ripen. So we wait patiently (which is not in our Italian nature) to pick them when they’re red, ripe and ready after long days in the Asti sunshine.
And it’s so worth the wait. We slowly roast them with sweet yellow peppers and blend to our authentic Italian recipe with fresh basil, cheese and garlic.
