Vegetarian Spaghetti with Butter, Cheese and Black Pepper

Ingredients

  • 300g 90” Rapida Spaghetti
  • 60g butter
  • 60g vegetarian hard cheese 
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Mix the butter and vegetarian hard cheese in a small pan.
  2. Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (around 8-9 minutes).
  3. Meanwhile, ladle around 120ml of cooking water into the butter and vegetarian cheese mix.
  4. Over a low heat, stir the butter, vegetarian hard cheese and water until it reaches a creamy consistency, adding more cooking water to loosen it, or more cheese to thicken it. 
  5. Once cooked, drain the spaghetti well. 
  6. Turn off the heat and stir the pasta through the creamy sauce.
  7. Add plenty of black pepper, and salt to taste
  8. Transfer to a serving dish before enjoying.
