Basil Pesto Cheese on Toast
Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto adds a herby, garlicky twist to this comfort food classic. Toast thick slices of sourdough, and smear with a generous dollop of Sacla' Pesto. Finish with a sprinkle of sharp cheddar, grill until bubbly, and devour.

Ingredients
- 2 slices bread
- 1 pot Sacla’ Classic Basil Pesto
- 50g Cheddar cheese, roughly grated
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Method
- Place the slices of bread on a baking tray and lightly grill on one side
- Turn the bread over and spread generously with Sacla’ Pesto
- Scatter over the grated cheese and grill again until it has melted. Season and serve
