Crispy Vegan Pesto Tofu

Try something different with our Crispy Vegan Pesto Tofu Recipe. Serve these crispy strips of air-fried Tofu coated in our Vegan Basil Pesto as an exciting main or side, for a vegan twist on your mid-week meals.

Ingredients

1 block of firm tofu

1 tbsp. olive oil

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

1/8 tsp. sea salt

3 tbsp. Sacla’ Vegan Basil Pesto

Method

  1. Into a medium size mixing bowl, add cubed tofu. Add olive oil and toss to coat.
  2.  Add garlic powder, ground black pepper, and sea salt. Toss again to evenly distribute seasonings.
  3. Onto a parchment lined baking sheet, arrange tofu in an even layer.
  4. Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes, stirring halfway through!
  5. Remove from oven and place baked tofu in the mixing bowl.
  6. Add Sacla’ Vegan Basil Pesto and gently toss to coat.
