Tuna & Olive Intenso Penne

This intense southern Italian-style pasta recipe makes great use of the concentrated flavours our Tomato & Olive Intenso sauce. The key is to add the tuna right before serving, just long enough to warm it through but keep it delicously tender.

Ingredients
- 400g Penne pasta (gluten free)
- 1 jar Sacla’ Tomato & Olive Intenso
- 200g canned tuna, drained
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp. flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, zest
How to make the recipe
Step 1
In a large pan of boiling, salted water, cook the pasta to your liking
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat the Sacla' Intenso in a pan over a low heat
Step 3
Add the tuna, broken into large chunks
Step 4
Carefully stir so as to not break up the tuna and season to taste
Step 5
Drain the pasta and divide between warm plates
Step 6
Spoon the sauce over the pasta
Step 7
Garnish with a sprinkling of parsley and lemon zest
