We’ve added just a hint of roasted garlic to our char-grilled aubergines but there’s no cheese here, making it perfect for vegetarians and vegans. Taste the transformation when tossed through roasted vegetables and try it as a dip with chopped olives and red onion – sublime! It’s the perfect partner to meat and fish too, generously spooned over chicken skewers and with king prawns and gnocchi-style pasta.

You can eat Sacla’ Char-Grilled Aubergine Pesto chilled or at room temperature. For example, it adds a delicious depth of flavour to this much-loved Middle Eastern dip, Aubergine Pesto Baba Ganoush - easy and speedy to make and perfect for scooping up with grissini or grilled flatbreads. 

Our recipe doesn’t include cheese, so it is vegetarian and vegan friendly. The aubergines are char-grilled until soft and then blended with the other ingredients to create a creamy, smoky flavoured Pesto.
