Description
The star of a pasta dish is the pasta, not the sauce. Rustichella make their Primograno Chitarrone pasta with durum wheat grown only in Abruzzo, drawn through bronze dies, and slowly dried at low temperatures. The result is a complex flavour and firm texture that’s appreciated all over Italy. Italian chef Aldo Zilli is also a big fan.

Chitarrone is a square sectioned spaghetti named after the guitar-like tool traditionally used to create the shape. Perfect with a simple tomato sauce or classic Pesto.

Storage Instructions: Keep in a cool and dry place away from light and heat.

Instructions for Use: Hob. Time: 16-18 mins. For best results, place the pasta into a large pan of boiling water. Bring back to the boil and cook for 16-18 minutes. Drain thoroughly and season to taste.
