Move over tomato purée, Cook’s Paste is here to steal your crown. Sun-dried tomatoes have an intense, concentrated flavour, the result of days drying under the hot Italian sunshine. We then add a touch of garlic, wine vinegar and cracked black pepper and blend.

A spoonful of Cook’s Paste is all it takes to give all pasta sauces added oomph. Try on our Prosciutto, Sun-Dried Tomato & Mozzarella Pizza, Mediterranean Chicken Salad and brush it onto Roast Chicken for a burst of sunshine in every bite.

It’s commonly used to add rich tomato flavour to sauces, soups, and stews. Sacla’ Sun-Dried Tomato Paste is made with sun-dried tomatoes that have been dried under Italian sunshine to add even more intense, concentrated flavour and then blended with garlic and cracked black pepper.

 

Sacla’ Sun-Dried Tomato Paste is pasteurised, so it is safe to eat it uncooked; however, the magic happens when a generous spoonful of this rich paste is added to hot dishes. For a big boost of flavour, try it in pasta sauces, as a topping for pizza, and thickly brushed on chicken before it’s roasted.

You can store unopened jars in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.  Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 weeks.
