Garafolo No 9. Spaghetti, a long and thin pasta made from superior quality durum wheat semolina. Using traditional processes together with innovation Garafolo has created this coveted pasta, bronze drawn to give a rough texture. Originally created in 1819, Spaghetti was first named ‘spaghetto’, with ‘spago’ meaning string in Italian. The traditional Neapolitan recipe of Spaghetti con Vongole Paesane is most enjoyed with this spaghetti, the rich flavours of the clams, garlic and chilli coating each strand.
