Ingredients: Water, MILK, CREAM, BUTTER, modified corn starch, sunflower oil, corn maltodextrin, BUTTERMILK, skimmed MILK powder, sea salt, Grana Padano PDO Cheese (MILK, EGG), Pecorino Romano PDO Cheese (ewe’s MILK), sugar, sodium polyphosphate, sodium citrate, natural flavouring, xanthan gum, EGG yolk powder, black pepper, nutmeg powder.

Alfredo Pasta Sauce was created in Rome in the early 20th century by Alfredo di Lelio, an Italian restaurateur. It is a rich, white pasta sauce made with cheese, butter and cream.

Alfredo Pasta Sauce is traditionally eaten with long pasta like fettuccine, linguini and tagliatelle. It has so much flavour and such a creamy texture, there is no need to add other ingredients.

In this particular recipe, we have added a Pesto twist. Fresh Italian basil, Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese and black pepper give this a flavour burst to counterbalance the rich, creamy Alfredo sauce.

Store unopened jars in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.
