Halloumi & Pesto Spaghetti Burger

Serves 4


  • 3 tsp. olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 halloumi cheese slices
  • 1 handful rocket leaves
  • 1 tomato 
  • 1/4 jar Sacla Classic Basil Pesto
  • 400g spaghetti


  1. Boil the spaghetti, drain and toss in 2 tbsp. Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto. 
  2. Chop half of the the spaghetti into short pieces for the burgers. The remaining half will be eaten seprately. 
  3. Heat a greased frying pan over a medium-high heat. 
  4. Add the halloumi slices and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden.
  5. To assemble the burgers; halve the buns and fill them with the rocket, tomato, halloumi and a generous dollop of Pesto.
  6. Add the chopped Pesto spaghetti and hey presto, you have a Pesto burger!
