Our award-winning Fiery Chilli Pesto isn’t called “Fiery” for nothing!
This recipe was inspired by the famous ‘Aglio Olio E Peperoncino’ sauce of Italy – a simple combination of garlic, olive oil and chillies, packed full of flavour and often served with spaghetti as a late night snack, would you believe?
It’s made with sharp-tasting red chillies and plenty of fresh red peppers, tomatoes, and Pecorino Romano cheese. There’s a real kick in every spoonful and it really will add a little fiery excitement to a whole variety of recipes.
Be in the know…It is only since the unification of Italy in the 19th Century, that the wonderful chillies that Southern Italians had been using in their cooking for centuries became more popular.
How to use
With pasta, we think 100g of pasta per quarter jar of Pesto works best or visit our recipe collection for more inspiration.
