Chicken Goujons with Chilli Dip


  • 2 Chicken breasts, skinless
  • 80g Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp Plain flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Sacla’ Fiery Chilli Pesto or 1 Fiery Chilli Pesto Pot
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise


  1. Slice 2 skinless chicken breasts into long thin strips
  2. Place strips in a bowl with flour and toss to coat
  3. Beat 1 medium egg in a shallow bowl
  4. Dip each chicken strip into the egg, then into the crumbs to coat
  5. Heat oil in a large frying pan
  6. Fry chicken for 10 minutes, turning halfway until chicken is golden and cooked through
  7. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together Sacla’ Pesto with mayonnaise to make a dipping sauce
