Fresh Trofie with Fresh Tomato Sauce


  • 1 x 300g bag Trofie Fresh Pasta
  • 3 large ripe Tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • A handful of Basil leaves, roughly torn
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to drizzle
  • 190g jar Sacla’ Classic or Reduced Fat Basil Pesto
  • Salt
  • Black pepper


  1. Cook pasta according to the instructions in a large pan of salted, boiling water
  2. Drain well and immediately toss with tomatoes, basil, oil and Sacla’ Pesto
  3. Season and serve with a drizzle of oil and torn basil scattered over the top
