In Piedmont, these mushrooms typically grow in the valleys and mountains between April and November – the best will grow in the soft Autumn rains before the wind and frosts set in. The Inaudi family only select the best fresh porcini mushrooms to be sliced and dried, and these are chunky slices for maximum flavour – you won’t find any crumbs or dust!
