Mushroom Pesto Pasta

  • 1 jar Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto
  • 400g pasta
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 5 ounces diced onions
  • Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Boil a large pot of water for the pasta.
  2. Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Add butter and diced onions, then stir for a couple of minutes.
  3. Once the onions are cooked, add mushrooms, salt, and pepper, and cook until golden brown for 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate pan, add salt to the boiling water and cook the pasta according to pack instructions until al dente.
  5. Drain the pasta and return to the pot. 
  6. Add the mushrooms and last but not least add the extra delicious Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto and stir together.
