Basil Pesto Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes

Serves 4


  • 500g Trofiette pasta
  • 1 jar Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto 
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves 
  • 50g pine nuts 
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste 
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste 
  • 250g cherry tomatoes 
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and boil for 18 minutes as instructed on the pack. 
  2. Once cooked, drain the pasta and place it in a large bowl. 
  3. Pour the Pesto over the cooked pasta and stir to fully combine. 
  4. Garnish with cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, parmesan cheese and chopped basil. 
  5. Add pepper flakes for extra spiciness. Yum yum!
