250g of garden peas 2 large potatoes 0.5L vegetable stock 2tbsp of Pesto Ciabatta roll (optional)
Place the stock into a saucepan and simmer gently to warm through Add the peas and potatoes (peeled and roughly chopped into small pieces) into the pan and cook for about 15 minutes until the potatoes are soft Take the soup off of the heat and blend with a hand blender until smooth Stir in the pesto for that extra touch of flavour Serve in a warm bowl with a nice crusty ciabatta roll on the side
