1 large pizza base (12-14in) or 2 smaller ones
2 medium onions, finely sliced
1 clove of garlic, crushed
2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp of Sacla' Vine-Ripened Tomato & Mascarpone Stir Through sauce
4 fresh plum tomatoes, roughly sliced
4 Sacla' Sun-Dried Tomatoes, chopped
125g of Mozzarella, sliced
6 fresh basil leaves, torn
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the oven according to the pizza base makers' instructions.
Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions and garlic until soft, stirring frequently so they don't stick and burn.
Add the Sacla' Vine-Ripened Tomato & Mascarpone sauce to the pan, season and keep stirring well.
Spread the mixture over the pizza base and arrange the tomatoes and Mozzarella artistically on top.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the Mozzarella starts to melt and bubble.
Scatter the pizza with fragrant basil leaves when you're ready to serve.
At for those pizza leaflets you get through the door, thrown away for good.
