Chilli Pork Meatballs with Tagliatelle

Fiery Chilli PestoIntensely Italian Fiery Chilli Pesto
Ingredients

300g of Fresh Pasta (eg Sacla' Tagliatelle pasta)

For the meatballs:
250g (9oz) British pork mince
1 1/2 tsp from a jar of Sacla' Fiery Chilli Pesto
1tsp dried oregano
Grated Parmesan, to serve

For the sauce:
1 Pack fresh of Sacla' Cherry Tomato and Chilli Pasta Sauce or 1 jar of Sacla' Vine Ripened Tomato and Chilli Sauce
200g (7oz) canned chopped tomatoes (only if using the jarred sauce)

Instructions

Mix the meatball ingredients, season and roll into 10 meatballs.

Heat the frying pan with a little olive oil and fry the meatballs for a few minutes until brown on all sides. Tip in the sauce. If you're using tomatoes, add to the sauce with a pinch of sugar and bring everything to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, shaking from time to time.

Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions, drain, add a little of the cooking water to the sauce and divide between bowls. Top with meatballs, sauce and parmesan and serve.
