One of the oldest Italian cheeses; Gorgonzola has been journeying to the UK since about 1900. Our little jar uses 'piccante'; slightly thicker and bluer than its 'dolce' counterpart, bringing a sumptuous, mellow taste to the product. Mixed with sweet Italian red onions and plump vine-ripened tomatoes it's a sensation you have to try.
Delightful with a robust pappardelle and great simply straight from the jar spread on bruschetta or crostini.
