There’s so much more to Italian food than just pizza and pasta. The length and breadth of Italy we enjoy all kinds of fish, meat and vegetables.
Brasato al Barolo (Beef Braised in Barolo Wine) is a stalwart of Piedmontese cooking, especially in the region around Asti where the best wine is produced and our family comes from. This Recipe Base has all the flavour and authenticity of this timeless classic, but you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen creating it.
It’s made with a rich reduction of full-bodied Barolo wine from Piedmont, horseradish, mustard seeds and rosemary. Slow cook it with beef or try it with chicken
Be in the know… Barolo wine is made from only the very best Nebbiolo grapes, grown in our home region of Piedmonte – aren’t we lucky?
