This intense Cook’s Paste is made with an abundance of fresh tomatoes, which we’ve dried in the Italian sunshine until they are dry, sweet and a shadow of their former selves. Only then are they fit for our smooth, Sun-Dried Tomato Paste. Then we add garlic and cracked black pepper so you can add big flavour to your dishes in just a spoonful.
Rich, red and concentrated, you can give tomato purée the elbow and use this Paste in pasta sauces, stews, casseroles and soups. And it will instantly liven up any kind of fish, meat and vegetables – the key is to experiment!
Be in the know… Tomatoes aren’t always red. They can be yellow, pink, purple, black and even white.
How to use
Simply use as you would a tomato purée and add a generous dollop to casseroles, a spoonful to pasta sauce or spread on to pizza.
